Grinding cobot features an AI-guided vision system for welders

When you first think of a cobot in a metal fab shop, you probably imagine one that welds together pieces of metal, with a human operator overseeing the work done by the machine.

Welding cobots came to prominence because companies and manufacturers wanted something to handle the repetitive and mundane tasks so their experienced employees could spend time on the more complex, less repetitive jobs.

Kane Robotics hopes to address these same issues, but on the postwelding side of things.
