(Albuquerque, N.M.—April 14, 2021) Kane Robotics (KRI), a leader in designing and developing collaborative robotic systems for manufacturing and construction applications, is pleased to announce that they have been approved by FANUC America Corporation (“FANUC”) as an Authorized System Integrator (“ASI”).
KRI was established to deliver next-generation robotic automation to help aerospace and defense manufacturers meet high-mix/low-volume production needs. Now, KRI plans aggressive expansion into the overall manufacturing and construction sectors, with innovations that multiply labor productivity and efficiency. We are proud to offer FANUC’s collaborative robotic arms and other products to our growing set of “smart tools” for:
- Sanding, grinding, & finishing
- Drilling & countersinking
- Epoxy & other liquid dispensing
- Spraying paints, liquids, powders & abrasives
- Inspection & quality control
FANUC is recognized worldwide for its innovative, reliable products including over 100 robot models with payload capabilities from 0.5 – 2,300 kg. FANUC’s robots offer straightforward integration, programming and operation for both novice and advanced users. From small shops to large production operations, manufacturers rely on FANUC automation to improve productivity, increase quality, maximize profits and maintain a competitive edge.
FANUC’s new CRX collaborative robots are easy to use and program, safe, flexible, and quick to get up and running for a variety of manufacturing and industrial applications. The CRX is available in two models, both with 10kg payloads, including the CRX-10iA and CRX-10iA/L long-reach version. A new tablet teach pendant with icon-based drag-and-drop control enables anyone to program the robot – no programming knowledge is required. The new CRX series offers customers eight years of maintenance-free operation, and the same industrial reliability that FANUC is known for all over the world.
“As the newest member of FANUC’s ASI network, we are excited to leverage FANUC’s vast knowledge and expertise in robotics and other automation products to help our mutual customers solve their toughest productivity challenges.” says John Spruce, chief executive officer for KRI. “Our lightweight, low-cost and rapidly-deployable collaborative automation solutions are the “smart tools” that enable our customers to free up their skilled workforce from time-consuming, repetitive manufacturing tasks.”
Scott Dreslinski, Director Sales Western Region for FANUC remarked “We are excited that KRI has decided to join our program, we believe that their capabilities and focus on collaborative robots are a good fit with FANUC. We believe our CRX series of collaborative robots provide KRI with best-in-class robotic arms, vision systems and other sensors that will fully support KRI’s efforts to rapidly deploy turnkey systems.”
